Another great site is Overstock.com, which is basically a site that sells wholesale and overstocked items. You can usually find a pretty good deal here. Physical stores that consider themselves to be wholesale rather than retail are also a great place to look if you aren't really one for internet shopping.

While you may usually be the perfect candidate for cheap watches, a lot of us can have our weaker moments and spend money on things (like expensive watches) that we don't really need. Below are a few tips to avoid this.

Vacations

Places where there are novelty watches, particular characters, and colorful themes running rampant can be a surefire impulse buy for a lot of people. Amusement parks and other tourist destinations are sure to burn their trademark images onto every single piece of merchandise that they can dream up, and watches are no exception. Try to think of your daily life and ask yourself "Do I really need this?" Are you really going to want that pink Minnie Mouse watch after you are back home? What outfits will it go with? Chances are, you will probably find that you don't really need it.

Peer Pressure

Sometimes it is really dangerous to shop with friends. Cheap watches are not on your friends' agendas when you perusing through the mall together. After all, it isn't their money to spend, which makes it much easier for them to tell you that that expensive designer watch is "Sooooo cute!" They are probably right. But the smart thing to do is to just walk away from it, sleep on the idea of buying it for a night, and if you still want it you can return to the mall and get it. Many people find that once they leave the scene of temptation, they don't usually want to go back and buy that item after all.
