Bulova Watches for a Lady
From LoveToKnow Watches
In 1875, a young Bohemian immigrant named Joseph Bulova opened a small jewelry shop in New York City. This humble little store became the foundation for Bulova, one of the most prominent and respected watchmakers in business today.
Bulova has a long history of, well, making history. Aside from producing the world’s first full line of men and women’s watches, Bulova was also responsible for the nations first radio commercial, first television commercial, the first clock radio, the first electric clocks, and the practice of using standardized parts in the watch industry - parts made with such precision that they are interchangeable with all watches of the same brand.
New York City mayor Rudolph Giuliani proclaimed October 4th to be Bulova Day, in recognition of Bulova’s 125th anniversary.
Bulova is, without a doubt, a force to be reckoned with in the watch industry.
Bulova Watches for Women
As you might expect from a company that’s been producing watches for nearly a century, Bulova has quite a selection. Most models come in styles for both men and women, but there are several unique models that are exclusive to each gender. Bulova has several brands. For help finding the right watch, please read on.
Bulova
Bulova is their signature brand and contains mostly mid-priced watches, all crafted with a classic styling. The Bulova brand also hosts an assortment of 14-karat gold watches, which offers some of Bulova’s most expensive pieces. Bulova offers women exclusive pieces such as the Bangle collection and the Box Set, which includes a crystal pendant along with a watch. The Crystal collection offers a fine assortment of thinner, more subtle watches.
Accutron
Accutron, named for it’s accurate time keeping, is Bulova’s premiere and most expensive watch brand. All Accutron watches are Swiss made and feature the highest quality materials. The Accutron watches come in various collections, with each collection sporting a unique style amongst its watches. While a good portion of the watches in the Accutron line are exclusively for men, there are a few women-only watches as well as several for both men and women. Ladies get to have the Chamonix collection, which features a nice assortment of watches sporting leather straps and diamonds. Women also get the Winterpark and Courchevel collections.
Caravelle
Caravelle is Bulova’s most price friendly line. Crafted in a more contemporary style, many of the watches in the Caravelle brand run less than $100 dollars. And although the Caravelle line might feature the lowest prices out of all the Bulova brands, they feature the same quality work that Bulova is famous for. The Caravelle line features eight collections, two of which are exclusively for women. The Bracelet and Crystal collections both feature thin, elegant watches that carry price tags of around $100 dollars. In the Specialty collection, women can pick up a beautiful heart shaped pendant watch for around ninety dollars. The lowest cost collection is the Strap collection, which features an assortment of watches sporting different styles of leather straps.
Harley Davidson
For the biker in all of us, Boluva offers a Harley Davidson line of watches and timepieces. While the Strap and Bracelet lines offer watches for both men and women, the Bangle Collection features three women's watches sporting the Harley Davidson logo and adjustable bangle bracelets.
